I have been playing with FreeCAD and Pepakura a lot recently and have designed the eye stalk for my Ironside using them.

For the eye stalk I have only done the back of the eye using FreeCad and Pepakura. The front part I am building up manually.

It was very fiddly to do.  Afterwards when I finished I realized that it was wrong when I drew it in FreeCAD I had made a stupid mistake. I will put this down to experience

The good news is it was too small there was no way that I could possibly get my servo motor inside it.
