One of the distractions I have had recently is that I got an E-ink display a few months ago as a Christmas present.

I hooked it up and started to play with my options. I ran through the demo code.
Then made changes so that it had an image and some text. Adding the image takes a bit of time especially with orientation. I have not got the hang of just updating a small area of the screen.
The E-ink display uses very little power. I last refreshed this image about 2 months ago, it is eerie to see a display “on” when there is no power.

I have some ideas on how to use this display for something more practical.
