I cut out the slats out of foam board. I then sliced through the foam in a U shape. Near the edge of the Slat I only went through the foam board partially.
I then pressed the foam board to get the internal angle and glued it into place.
Once dried I then sliced off the angle at the back I then painted it with white glue and this is what they looked like after all that.
